Contents
Wikidocumentaries is a wiki for small history
Wikidocumentaries is a collaborative platform for citizen historians. It is based on the existing content in Wikimedia projects, and it will be complemented with small and lesser topics. Small places are eligible – capes and coves, paths and outhouses – and all related people ever lived or happenings they were involved in. The boundaries are the scope of the project, micro history, and respecting privacy. You cannot include content about a living person without their consent.
Aggregating content
Wikidocumentaries brings together data, articles, and media from Wikimedia projects and ties it in with content from other open repositories, that are accessed through their public APIs.

Geolocating images
Reading, recording, displaying, curating, and citing sources
Enriching image metadata
Open knowledge
All information recycled in Wikidocumentaries is openly licensed or Public Domain. Enriched data will be recycled to open projects in Wikimedia and other open projects.
