The site uses Wikifont icons created by Mun May Tee-Galloway.

The iconset has not been updated, but I suggest we continue developing it as an open source project. The font has been forked in https://github.com/Wikidocumentaries/WikiFont.

Sort

Help

Needed as a link for additional info. The usual tag icon would be suitable.

Expand page

Needed in tool sections as an option to expand the view to a bigger one or another window. The 'full window' icon would be suitable.

Shrink page

A pair to the previous.

ID

Image ID in the metadata editor. Could be used to mark any ID.

Institution

The source institution of the image in the metadata editor. The museum icon possibly.

Publishing platform

Another organisation to be included in the metadata editor listing. Could be the respective icons: Wikimedia Commons, Flickr, Finna, Ajapaik, Internet Archive, Europeana... and/or a generic one, a web icon, globe...?

Photographer, author

A creator icon, may be the same as the user icon. Different roles? For the metadata editor. Should imply a person.

Depicted person

The depicted person could be different from the author. Could be a person in a frame.

Production technique

Image metadata: Painting, photograph etc. Perhaps an data rows related to an image.

Measures. Same or different from Image dimensions

The physical size of the depicted object. Media metadata.

Filesize

The digital size of the depicted object. Media metadata.

File format

Media metadata.

Crowdsourcing task

The icon for the tasks menu in various content modules. A shovel, working gloves, machinery...
