* A link in the article links to a Wikidocumentaries page. When the topic exists in Wikidata, but the page does not exist in Wikidocumentaries, the page will be automatically created when clicked. A redlink from Wikipedia cannot be interpreted, and it may either be removed or it links to an intermediate page asking which page to create. The user could also create new links by selecting text and hitting a “Create link” button. That would lead to the same intermediate page.

Here's the structure of the topic page.

The page

The visitor navigates the site based on the topics that exist in either Wikidata or Wikidocumentaries. Each topic forms a page, which collects a Wikipedia article, visualizes related data and collects related media from all available open repositories. If the Wikidata item does not exist in the user's language, the user is prompted to add it to Wikidata. If the Wikipedia article exists in other language, the user can view it or create the article in her own language. The user can create new topics locally, if they do not exist in Wikidata. An automatic process will import them to Wikidata later, if they are suitable.

Modules for the topic page
